The record is getting pushed back ’till January which I know ain’t perfect, but soon as I’ve got it confirmed, I’ll announce the new release date.

This song is one whose tempo was very intentional. The amount of producers and labels I’ve met with that will tell you exactly what tempo a song “needs” to be is astounding. This is my proof that you can make a song whatever tempo it’s meant to be, and if ravers don’t get it, the rest of us will still sleep sound.

I also made a point to resist the urge to make a 5 minute epic. This song is short, to the point, and that’s what I like about it!

Lyrically the song represents my need for isolation, and the last 20 seconds, the discomfort it can cause for those around me. (Listen with headphones and you’ll get what I mean)

Regardless, very proud of this tune. From a production standpoint…the cheese stands alone.

This song was built around organized chaos, a bit of a look into a clearly overactive mind. Took influences from dubstep, some inspiration by tool, and vocoded a vocal melody that while robotic in nature, expresses the relentlessness of life’s struggles.

And to keep things clear that unlike some, I don’t just use computers to make my music, I used my pride and joy…my Godin guitar to vary the instrumentation in the bridge.
